DEFC stands for Digitizing Early Farming Cultures. The DEFC-App is an application for curating, exploring, and retrieving archaeological datasets.


This project conducted by the ACDH in cooperation with the University of Graz collects, evaluates and visualises information on Western Allied planes downed during the Second World War in the area of present-day Austria.

DEFC stands for Digitizing Early Farming Cultures, a project conducted in cooperation between the Institut für Orientalische und Europäische Archäologie (OREA) and the ACDH.


GraphViewer is a web application for visualizing and interactive exploration of graph data. Currently, it is fitted with a number of sample data sets. It is planned to allow to process and visualize any external data. 

The Gibson Trail

The Gibson Trail, a virtual exhibition, brings together all of John Gibson’s works from the most famous London collections in one website. The site provides images and information on more than 150 objects, including drawings, reliefs and sculptures.
